Texas Music International - Texas Music International (TMI) was founded in 1995 to explore multi-cultural themes in music and art in other cultures and to help promote the music and folklore of Texas internationally. TMI seeks to educate, entertain and empower audiences around the globe with a sense of brotherhood and cross-cultural understanding. We are producing a related series of music, performance and documentary projects. Our current projects are a documentary film about Bob & Tucker Livingston's musical tours shot on location in India, Pakistan, Nepal and the Middle East. TMI just coordinated the Livingston's August tour to Africa for concerts in Morocco, Tunisia and Angola. TMI is producing another Cowboys & Indians concert series for Texas schools in 2006. Cowboys & Indians is sponsored in part by the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division and a grant by the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA) and are part of the TCA's Artist Touring Roster. TMI is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we receive government, corporate and individual support.
Draka Arts - Draka Arts is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and building community through art, architecture, and energy. Founded in 2000, Draka Arts was birthed in the desolate, intense land of the Black Rock Desert, and inspired by the building of a 112 foot fire-breathing, mobile sculptural installation named Draka the Dragon.
